"During my internship at Skyryse, I was encouraged to pursue projects across different teams and areas of interest, which empowered me to grow my technical skills and explore different career paths. By working with multiple teams, including Systems Test, Embedded Software, DevOps, and even the Sales team, I had the unique opportunity to broaden my skill set and learn new perspectives on how to achieve Skyryse’s mission of making the skies safe."

"My time as an intern at Skyryse was great! Taking concepts from school and applying them in a fun, dynamic, and rewarding environment allowed me to grow greatly as an engineer over the course of my internship. Having ownership of my projects and seeing my contributions have a positive impact immediately helped build my confidence and skillset for a full time role. Beyond the engaging work, the thing that made me really excited to come back full time was the team and my peers. Everyone is extremely kind, willing to help and give guidance, and to work collaboratively to tackle and solve any issues that are raised!"

"As a Skyryse Systems intern, I had the amazing opportunity to work with the Systems, Mechanical, and GNC teams. Getting a glimpse into the different teams was invaluable to see how each piece of the Skyryse puzzle comes together, and allowed me to work on creative projects with a great group of mentors. I learned about the intersectionality of disciplines and real-world engineering practices that are difficult to grasp from a textbook alone. From my internship to transitioning to a full-time Mechanical Engineer, I have learned quicker than I ever have before and have gained confidence in my abilities by continuing to soak up as many lessons as possible from different teams. By transitioning from Systems to Mechanical during the internship program, I was given the opportunity to find the areas of engineering I'm most passionate about and pursue that as I start my career. Being a Skyryse intern prepared me both technically and mentally for the steps ahead, and introduced me to both fantastic mentors and a great group of friends!"

"My internship at Skyryse was the perfect segway to my full-time role as a guidance, navigation and controls engineer. I was given trust and opportunities to work on projects with impact, purpose and tons of learning experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone who is passionate about pushing forward general aviation to bring safer skies for all!"

"As an aerospace student, especially one who is much more interested in “air” than “space,” I always thought that I was pretty limited to the defense industry after graduation. I was unaware that there was even a job market in general aviation. I now am primarily interested in making aviation safer using technology that exists today, which is exactly what we are doing at Skyryse."
